The 12th Annual Annual Spring Golf Tournament that benefits A Gift for Teaching will be held on Monday April 7, 2008 at Grand Cypress Golf Club, North/South/East Course located at One North Jacaranda, Orlando.
Registration time is 7 am, practice balls & continental breakfast with the 8 am shotgun. The cost is $150 per player. Registration deadline is March 14 or until tournament is full. Each entry fee includes greens fees, cart, practice balls, continental breakfast, lunch and non-alcoholic beverages on the course. The Grand Cypress Golf Club is a spikeless facility.
As a result of the ever-increasing popularity of this annual sell-out event, this year's tournament will be played on a total of 27 holes and to ensure speed of play the field is limited to the first 160 entries 4-Man scramble.
Door & skill prizes will be awarded at the awards luncheon following the tournament.
A Gift for Teaching's mission will help ensure that underprivileged students in the Central Florida community have the basic tools necessary to succeed in school and life by collecting and distributing the community's surplus supplies and merchandise and distributing it to students in need through the Free Store for teachers.
